Danbury Man Facing Drug Charges After Police Probe

DANBURY, Conn. – A Danbury man was arrested Wednesday after police found a ‘substantial quantity’ of cocaine and heroin in his car and home, police said. The man, later identified as Jorge Pagon, 45 of Bayberry Lane, was the target of a several months-long police investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics, Detective Lt. Tom Michael said.

Police said members of the department’s Special Investigations Division found Pagon driving in Danbury and searched his car and home around 6:30 p.m. In addition to cocaine and heroin, officers also found money and drug paraphernalia, all of which was seized as evidence, Michael said.

Pagon was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts of possession of narcotics within 1,500-feet of a school, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500-feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle without a license, police said. Pagon was held on a $100,000 bond, Michael said.
