Danbury Man Wanted On Warrant Busted In Parked Car With Crack Cocaine

DANBURY, Conn. — A 44-year-old Danbury man was found with crack cocaine after officers investigated a suspicious incident inside a parked car, police said.

At about 3 p.m. Saturday, an officer on patrol in the area of West Street and Orchard Street saw a Subaru Legacy parked in street side parking near 76 West St., police said.

A woman, who was in the car with a man, was rubbing her face in a way that seemed she was injured or upset, police said.

Upon investigating, officers determined that the man, later identified as Julio Perez-Flores had two active warrants for his arrest, police said.

A search of Flores turned up 13 pieces of crack cocaine and a crack pipe, police said.

Flores was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was held on $10,000 bond.

He was also charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear on drug and assault charges.
