Danbury Middle School Student Hit By Car After Getting Off Bus

DANBURY, Conn. — A Danbury middle school student was hit by a car as he crossed North Street after getting off a bus Friday afternoon, according to the News-Times.

The student from West Side Middle School got off the bus on Madison Avenue and tried to cross North Street but was hit by a 2003 Acura MDX Tour driven by a 59-year-old woman, the News-Times said.

The driver told police did not see the student, who was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, the News-Times said.
