Danbury Police Arrest Two More Men On Indecency Charges

DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury Police charged a Mahopac man and a Stormville man with public indecency after they were reportedly found engaging in a sexual act at Farrington Woods Park off I-84 near the New York/Connecticut border on Tuesday, July 5.

Richard Moynihan, 75, of Stormville and Ferney Arcila-Hernandez, 52, of Mahopac were both observed walking up a trail in the park, according to police. Police followed and found the two in a clearing just off the main trail engaged in a sexual act, police said. 

The arrests of Moynihan and Arcila-Hernandez are the ninth and tenth arrests stemming from sexual acts in Farrington Woods Park in the last week. Four men were arrested between June 28 and June 30. Two were charged on Friday, July 1 while another pair was busted on Monday, July 4

Arcila-Hernandez and Moynihan were both released on a $500 bond and will return to court on July 19, officials said.
