DANBURY, Conn. -- A 22-year-old Danbury man was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges after an investigation found he was selling drugs out of his Harrison Street home, police said.

Officers investigated Lenny Antonio Gallardo, of 19 Harrison St., for several months after many area residents complained of unusual traffic to and from his residence, police said.

As a result of an investigation conducted by members of the Special Investigations Division, search-and-seizure warrants were issued by the Connecticut Superior Court, authorizing the search of Gallardo and his residence.

Before executing the search warrants, investigators watched as several people drove to his residence, entered his house and left within a few short minutes, police said.

At about 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, after witnessing the suspected drug activity, investigators with the assistance of a K-9 officer executed the search warrants, police said.

As a result of the searches, several ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized, police said. Gallardo was arrested without incident, police said.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a housing complex and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $25,000 bond.
