Danbury Police Arrest 3 During Harrison Street Drug Bust

DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury Police arrested three men on several counts of narcotics possession and intent to sell after a Harrison Street drug bust on Monday, July 21, officials said.

Members of Danbury's Special Investigations Division were executing a warrant for the residence of Kevin Gallardo, 21, at 19 Harrison St. on a suspicion of drug sales, police said. Both Gallardo and his brother, Lenny Gallardo, 22, were found in possession of various drugs,  according to Danbury Police. 

During the search, authorities encountered a third suspect, Julio Bispo, 20, who attempted to leave when he saw the officers, police said. He was detained and admitted to having drugs as well as a .32-caliber revolver, authorities said. 

Police had executed a search warrant for the same location for Lenny Gallardo just two months earlier, according to police. 

After the search, all three men were arrested. Kevin Gallardo and his brother were each charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell,  two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of public housing, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell,  two counts of possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of public housing and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Bispo was charged with carrying a revolver without a permit, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of public housing and possession of drug paraphernalia.
