DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury Police charged a Mahopac man and a Stormville man with public indecency after they were reportedly found engaging in a sexual act at Farrington Woods Park off I-84 near the New York/Connecticut border on Tuesday, July 5.
Richard Moynihan, 75, of Stormville and Ferney Arcila-Hernandez, 52, of Mahopac were both observed walking up a trail in the park, according to police. Police followed and found the two in a clearing just off the main trail engaged in a sexual act, police said.
The arrests of Moynihan and Arcila-Hernandez are the ninth and tenth arrests stemming from sexual acts in Farrington Woods Park in the last week. Four men were arrested between June 28 and June 30 . Two were charged on Friday, July 1 while another pair was busted on Monday, July 4 .
Arcila-Hernandez and Moynihan were both released on a $500 bond and will return to court on July 19, officials said.
