Danbury Police Pick Up Suspect In Illegal Driveway Paving Scheme

DANBURY, Conn. -- A Kentucky man is facing larceny charges in connection with an illegal driveway paving operation, Danbury police said Monday.

Dean Cooper, 34, of Winchester, Ky., was picked up at the Rockland County Correctional Center in New York on a warrant and taken to police headquarters in Danbury.

He was charged with second-degree larceny and second-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, police said.

Cooper was held on a $10,000 bond, police said.

The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation by Danbury police and the state Department of Consumer Protection.

Police said they expect to make more arrests in the case.
