Danbury Police Respond To Armed Robbery At Lowes

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Police Department is looking for a man connected to an armed robbery Tuesday at Lowes Home Improvement that occurred.

The robbery victim told officers that she had just parked her car around 9:40 a.m. and was getting out when the suspect pointed a gun at her and demanded money, police said. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and the victim's cell phone before taking off on foot towards Federal Road, police said. The victim was uninjured.

A check of the area was conducted by police and a K-9 Unit with negative results.

The suspect was described as a dark skinned male in his late 30s, medium build wearing dark jacket and pants.
