On June 1, 2014 at approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to a report of an unconscious male found laying in the roadway in the area of Hillcroft Apartments at 10 Clapboard ridge Rd.
Police and EMS personnel located a Hispanic male later identified as Ramirez, 31, of 42 Osborne St. in Danbury. Ramirez died several days later at Danbury Hospital from his injuries.
According to Danbury police, Ramirez did not have a vehicle and was last known to be on foot in downtown Danbury around Main Street and Ives Street and possibly missing several hundred dollars in cash and a Metro PCS phone.
Ramirez was found clothed in an orange short sleeved polo shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
