Danbury Police: Two Face Charges In Crack Cocaine Deal

DANBURY, Conn. – Two Danbury residents are facing charges after police said they saw a drug deal take place near West Wooster Street at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Members of the Community Conditions Unit observed 52-year-old Christopher Blue, driving a white Toyota, approach 20-year-old Laquana Briggs as she walked on West Wooster Street and exchange drugs for money, police said. Police later recovered a small plastic bag containing a white, rock-like substance that tested positive for cocaine, police said.

Blue was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession or narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and was held on $1,000 bond.

Briggs was charged with sale of crack cocaine and sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and was also held on $1,000 bond.
