Danbury Woman Intentionally Stepped In Front Of Truck On I-84, Police Say

DANBURY, Conn. -- Gayle Difalco, the Danbury woman who killed by a truck on I-84 on Tuesday night, intentionally stepped onto the highway and in front of the vehicle, according to a post from CT News.

Police said Difalco, 58, was hit by a truck owned by Timberland Trucking Inc. and driven by a man from Maine, the report said. 

The truck hit Difalco as she got out her car after she stopped on the shoulder near Exit 6 on Interstate 84 in Danbury, the report said. 

No charges have been filed against the truck driver, who stopped after hitting Difalco. The accident remains under investigation, State Police said.
