Danbury Woman Ticketed After Hitting Pedestrian On White Street

DANBURY, Conn. - Danbury police were looking for help in identifying a man who was struck by a car shortly before 9 a.m. Monday while crossing in a crosswalk on White Street, police said.

The male pedestrian was unconscious when officers arrived, police said, and he was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment but is in stable condition. An identification of the pedestrian has not yet been made, police said. 

The driver, Maria Moreno-Jimenez, 29, of Danbury, was issued a ticket on a charge of operating without a license and failure to yield to a pedestrian at a crosswalk, police said.
