Former Danbury Prison Worker Gets 5 Months For Having Sex With Inmate

DANBURY, Conn. -- A former employee at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury was sentenced to five months in prison for sexually abusing an inmate, according to a statement from the U.S. District Attorney of Connecticut.

Seven Wolff, 46, of the Bronx, N.Y., was a utilities system repair operator foreman at the prison. Court documents revealed that Wolff regularly engaged in sexual acts with an inmate between July and November 2011.

Wolff provided contraband such as hair dye, candy, greeting cards and over-the-counter medication to both his sexual partner and another inmate who provided a lookout, according to the U.S. attorney's statement.

Wolff pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse of a ward Aug. 6, 2013.

He was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release, with the first five months in home confinement under electronic monitoring.

The case was investigated by the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General and was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Anastasia E. King.
