Four Danbury Students Safe After Fire On School Bus

DANBURY, Conn. – Danbury firefighters tackled a fire on a school bus Wednesday morning that had spread to the passenger seats, according to WLAD-AM.

The bus's engine caught fire at about 8:15 a.m. near Coalpit Hill Road and Harrison Street, WLAD-AM said.

All four students on the bus were able to get off safely before firefighters arrived, reported WLAD-AM.

The bus was headed to Broadview Middle School for summer school classes, WLAD-AM noted.
