DANBURY, Conn. — Police are seeking information about the whereabouts of a woman who disappeared nearly six years ago in Danbury.

Mery Acosta, who would now be 22, has not been seen since June 6, 2011, when she was still a teenager, according to police.

She is described as white, with brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds, police said.

Acosta is shown in the attached photo taken around the time she disappeared and in an age-progressed photo showing how she would look today.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Danbury Police Department at 203-797-4611. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is also publicizing her case.
