The officer, with K-9 Zeke, had been checking out a vacant property on Prindle Lane when he noticed a suspicious car on the property, police said. When the officer went to speak with the driver, he reported smelling marijuana "emanating from the vehicle," police said
With the help of Zeke, the officer was able to locate marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia from inside the car, police said.
Police charged 19-year-old Brendan Enright of Danbury with possession of marijuana and seven counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Enright was released on $500 bond and given a court date of Feb. 14.
