Representatives from Connecticut Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) lauded Trevor Burke, of Waterbury, and Luis DosSantos, of Wolcott, during the organization’s recent annual Law Enforcement Recognition Ceremony in New Britain, according to a press release.
Burke has been a WCSU police officer for 11 years, while DosSantos has served the department for about a decade.
“Both officers exemplify the professionalism of the Western Police Department, and this recognition from M.A.D.D. acknowledges the seriousness of preventing drunken and impaired driving and substance abuse on campus and in the community at large,” WCSU Police Capt. Roger Connor said in a press release.
