DANBURY, Conn. — A 23-year-old man was beaten to the ground Wednesday after being attacked and robbed of his sunglasses, according to the News-Times.
The victim, who declined to identify himself, said he was walking across West Wooster Street when the alleged attacker approached him, took his sunglasses and went through his pockets, according to the News-Times, which reported that the victim was then repeatedly punched and kicked until hitting to pavement.
The alleged strong-armed robbery, which was apparently captured by a nearby security camera in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon, left the victim bruised and confused, but not seriously injured, according to the News-Times.
The victim was able to flag down a police officer who arrested the accused attacker not far from the scene, according to the News-Times, which reported that the alleged attacker’s name has not yet been released.
