Man Seriously Injured In Car Vs. Tractor-Trailer Crash On I-84 In Danbury

UPDATED: DANBURY, Conn. — A 22-year-old Danbury man was hospitalized after a serious car vs. tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 84 east just past Exit 8 in Danbury, according to WLAD-AM. 

Two people were hurt in the crash, which occurred Tuesday morning on I-84 near Exit 8.

He rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was parked at the end of the on-ramp at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, closing the on-ramp and one lane of the highway, WLAD said. 

The driver of the car had to be extricated by Danbury firefighters and was taken to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries, WLAD said.
