Christopher Wright, 21, reportedly gave himself up to police then made an appearance to Superior Court Judge William Holden in Bridgeport, said the Connecticut Post.
Charges against him include second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, according to the Connecticut Post.
Police told the Connecticut Post that Wright met the girl at the mall and took her back to his home, where he later sexually assaulted her. He also reportedly videotaped the encounter, according to the Connecticut Post.
Wright was held in place of $75,000 bond, said the report.
