Police: Erratic Driving Report Leads To DWI Arrest Of Danbury Man

DANBURY, Conn. — A 23-year-old Danbury man was arrested on drunken driving charges in Yorktown, N.Y., on Monday night, police said.

Ismael Vasquez-Garcia, 23, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and aggravated driving while intoxicated BAC of .18 percent or more, a misdemeanor, after police said they responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Crompond Road in Yorktown.

Vasquez-Garcia was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where further investigation determined he was operating his vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .18 percent or more, police said. He was released on $150 bail and is due back in court on Sept. 28.
