Police: Missing Danbury High Graduate, 21, Found Dead In Hudson River

DANBURY, Conn. — The body of a 21-year-old missing graduate of Danbury High School was recovered from the Hudson River in New York City on Thursday, according to Patch.com.

Patrick Healey, a member of the DHS Class of 2013 and a student-athlete at New York University, was pronounced dead at the scene, which is in the 34th Precinct of Washington Heights and Inwood, police told Patch.

An investigation will determine the cause of death, Patch said.

Healey had been reported missing on Wednesday, after he was last seen at his home on West 83rd Street on Sunday, July 10.

Healey was a senior studying economics at NYU, where he was a member of the varsity track and cross country team. He earned 2016 All-Academic honors this season from the University Athletic Association, according to the NYU athletics website.
