Police: Suspected Cocaine Dealer Arrested With Two Others In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. - After receiving complaints of a drug dealer selling out of his car in Danbury, officers set up a surveillance and caught the 23-year-old man conducting a transaction Wednesday, police said.

Officers began a surveillance of Anthony Dinho, of 18 Well Ave., Danbury, and on Wednesday followed as he and Adam Gerbert, 25, of 2 Hillside St., Danbury, made several suspicious stops, police said. At one, officers reported that a man, Howard Dingee, 56, approached the car to make a drug purchase, police said.

At that point, officers stepped in and arrested all three individuals and transported them to police headquarters, police said. 

Dingee was found to be in possession of a small amount of a narcotic substance, police said, while Dinho and Gebert were found to be in possession of "substantial amounts of cocaine (powder and crack), marijuana and drug paraphernalia."

Dinho was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell less than a half-ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of powder cocaine, possession of powder cocaine with intent to sell under one ounce, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, sale of crack cocaine, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, and possession with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school. He was held on $150,000 bond.

Gerbert was charged with possession of powder cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of powder cocaine with intent to sell over one ounce, sale of crack cocaine, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school. He was held on $50,000 bond.

Police also arrested Dingee, of 14 Parker St., Danbury, on a charge of possession of a narcotic substance. He was released on a written promise to appear.

No court dates were released for the three men arrested.
