Stony Hill Firefighters Douse Dumpster Blaze In Bethel

BETHEL, Conn. — Volunteer firefighters from the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company doused a dumpster fire in a driveway on Saturday, according to a Facebook post.

Engine 1 and Engine 3 were dispatched at about 1 p.m. Saturday to a residential driveway on the northern end of Old Hawleyville Road, the Facebook post said. 

The fire was extinguished in short order without incident.
