DANBURY, Conn. -- An intoxicated woman was arrested after she pitched a fit in a Danbury store when a clerk refused to sell her beer, according to a report by the Danbury News-Times.

Jessica Anastasia, 22, who is homeless pushed the employee of Lulu’s Market, cursed, threw food, and attacked a witness when he tried to call authorities, police told the Danbury News-Times.

She was charged assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief, the Danbury News-Times article said.

In an unrelated incident, another homeless person, this time a man, created a disturbance at a thrift store on Main Street, the Danbury News-Times reported.

Jermaine Murray, 39, was charged with threatening, breaching the peace, and possession of drug paraphernalia after he threatened a woman inside the store and screamed at passersby outside it, police told the Danbury News-Times.
