Wilton Police: Ferrari Driver Arrested On DUI Charges Had Loaded Gun

WILTON, Conn. -- A Wilton man was arrested after police said he almost caused a crash while driving his Ferrari under the influence with a loaded gun in his pocket.

At around 1:38 a.m. Tuesday, police saw a blue Ferrari speeding in the area of Danbury Road and Hollyhock Lane and almost cause a crash, according to police reports. The car was stopped and the driver, 37-year-old Michael Corsi, failed his field sobriety test, according to police.

Corsi's blood alcohol content was found to be 0.1782, more than twice the legal limit, police said. During his arrest it was discovered that he had a loaded firearm in his pocket, according to police.

Corsi was charged with following too closely, failure to drive in the proper lane, traveling unreasonably fast, driving under the influence and carrying a gun while under the influence. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was given a court day of May 25.
