Wilton Police Seek Suspect Who Used Fake Cash From Movie Set

WILTON, Conn. — Wilton police are asking for help in finding a suspect who tried to pass fake $100 bills that were marked “For Motion Picture Use Only.”

The suspect, a white male, attempted to cash a $100 bill on June 13 at a local CVS in Wilton, police said. The cashier did not accept the currency but did keep it, police said.  

The $100 bill had the markings “For Motion Picture Use Only” in the upper right corner of the bill, police said. Similar bills were cashed at other local businesses in Wilton, police said.  

The Wilton Police Department is requesting information on the subject in the photo above Any people or agencies with information are asked to contact Officer Eric Patenaude of the Wilton Police Department at 203-834-6260 in reference to case 15-6255.
