Woman, 50, Charged With Stealing SAT Exam In June From Wilton High

WILTON, Conn. -- The super-heated competition to get ahead in college acceptances may have claimed another victim after a Wilton woman was charged with stealing an SAT exam from Wilton High School on June 6, police said.

Laura M. Garbuz, 50, of 45 Breeds Hill Place, Wilton, was arrested Monday on a warrant.

Laura M. Garbuz, 50, of 45 Breeds Hill Place, Wilton, was arrested Monday on a warrant after officers spotted her driving on Route 7 in Wilton, police said.

She was stopped in the area of Center Street and Ridgefield Road at 9 a.m., police said.

She charged with third-degree larceny and released after posting $2,500 cash bond. Her first court appearance at state Superior Court in Norwalk is set for Aug. 14.
