Woman Faces Prison For Threats To Stratford, Danbury Schools

A judge earlier this month sentenced a 20-year-old Torrington woman to seven years in prison plus 20 years of parole following a plea deal stemming from 2014 threats against high schools in Danbury and Stratford, according to WLAD-AM.

Natalie Carpenter, who was 18 at the time, was overheard making violent threats against the schools. She was later charged with conspiracy to commit assault and criminal attempt to commit assault, reports WLAD-AM.

According to court documents, she and 20-year-old Peter Thulin tried to buy a gun, says WLAD-AM. Thulin is due in court June 28.
