Police said an officer was patrolling Route 202 when he observed a vehicle operating with insufficient brake lights. The vehicle was stopped for the traffic infraction and the operator was identified as Sanchez, police said. Following an investigation, police siad Sanchez was operating the motor vehicle while his New York driving privileges were suspended, according to police. Sanchez was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
Sanchez was issued an appearance ticket and released after posting $250 bail. Sanchez is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 3.
