FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A recent report released by the New York Office of the State Comptroller revealed several instances of overtime abuse by Metro-North employees, according to the New York Post.

According to the report, conductors were paid overtime for changing clothes or while traveling to and from work. The report also said Metro-North didn't keep accurate time records for employees and signed off on overtime without justification, the Post reported.

The overtime paid out was funded by $72.3 million that was given to the railroad as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, The Post said.
