DANBURY, Conn. -- Voters in House District 107 in Danbury, Brookfield and Bethel will head to the polls Tuesday, Feb 24, to choose a new state representative.

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the special election.

Running in the election for the seat are Stephen Harding, a Republican member of the Brookfield Board of Education, and Democrat Howard Lasser, a former member of the Brookfield Board of Education.

Former state Rep. David Scribner has endorsed Harding to replace him.

Scribner, a Republican, stepped aside in January to take a position with the state Department of Consumer Protection, triggering the special election.
