"Thank you Danbury for a resounding victory 70.5%. #oneluv," Boughton announced via Twitter @MayorMark at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Boughton, a Republican, was elected to his seventh term as mayor in Danbury.
Challenger Paul McAllister had conceded defeat earlier in the evening at Democratic headquarters.
