Harding is a new addition to the House Republican caucus who was elected through a special election last Tuesday. He joins 20 other Republican freshmen who are serving their districts in two-year terms.

Harding said he is committed to supporting economic recovery, balancing the state budget, job creation and innovative public health services.

“I’m excited to represent the people of Bethel, Brookfield and Danbury in the state legislature,” Harding said.  “As policy subcommittee chairman on the Brookfield Board of Education, and a local youth sport leader, I have had the opportunity to play an active role in the community, and I’m honored to be able to continue my advocacy for the 107th in Hartford.”

For the 2015-16 legislative term, House Minority Leader Themis Klarides appointed Harding to serve on the Judiciary, Energy and Technology and Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committees.
