Important pieces of legislation were discussed as voters raised concerns about their impact on the 107th District.

“We had a great turnout for this meeting, and I’m happy to reconnect with my constituents,” said Harding. “As debates get more and more complex in the House Chamber, I want residents of Brookfield, Bethel and Danbury to feel assured that their best interests are being represented.”

Key topics that were discussed at the coffee hours include taxes on colleges and Danbury Hospital and New Milford Hospital; the state deficit, tolls; small businesses; the enforcement of local ordinances; tree cutting along highways; education funding; and drug free zones.

Details regarding Harding’s next coffee hours will be released after the legislative session concludes on June 3. These events are free of charge and open to the public.
