DANBURY, Conn. – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Danbury donated $520 to Ann’s Place, a local nonprofit organization that provides community-based support services to individuals and families affected by cancer.

The donation was made through the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation, the company’s charitable foundation.

“A cancer diagnosis can be devastating, and organizations like Ann’s Place work hard to provide services to patients and their families so they can better cope with the physical, emotional and financial challenges that the disease brings into their lives,” said Scott Cooney, sales manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Danbury. “We are so proud to again lend our support to Ann’s Place.”

Ann’s Place has been providing cancer support services to those touched by cancer since 1991.

The Danbury-based nonprofit agency serves hundreds of clients every month, with many coming from Connecticut as well as the Hudson Valley, N.Y. Services are provided completely free of charge, including individual and family counseling, support groups for people with various cancer diagnoses and at various stages of treatment, and a variety of wellness programs including yoga, reiki, art, horticultural, and more.

“We would like to thank the Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation and especially the Danbury office for its generous support throughout the years. We value our community partners and know that their donations are critical as we work to enhance the quality of life of cancer patients throughout the region,” said Anthony Zeolla, president and CEO of Ann’s Place.

The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation is supported by the staff and affiliated sales associates of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
