Steam Kids Science Boot Camp Kicks Off At Oakland Academy

OAKLAND, N.J. – The Academies at Gerrard Berman Day School and Pico Turbine are hosting a STEAM Rocks! boot camp week from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 through Friday, Feb. 5.

A STEAM Rocks! Boot Camp for children in first-eighth grades will take place Feb. 1-5 at The Academies at Gerrard Berman Day School.

Children in first through eighth grades can learn about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) with different classes offered each day:

  • Monday: 3D Printing
  • Tuesday: Alternative energy
  • Wednesday: Robotics
  • Thursday: Electronics
  • Friday: HydroPonics

A laptop or tablet is recommended.

Camp price is $55 per day for 1-2 days, $45 per day for 3-4 days or $40 per day for all five days. Lunch and snack is an additional $5 per day. Click here to register.
