A caller to the shared main office at 10:10 a.m. “made reference to the planting of a bomb,” Waldwick Police Lt. Douglas J. Moore told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

Two more calls came in from the same number, but “no specific threat was made,” Moore said.

Everyone was relocated to the Superdome nearby.

A search by bomb-sniffing dogs turned up nothing, Bergen County Police Capt. James Mullin told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Everyone then returned.

“An investigation into the identity of the person or persons responsible for making the calls is being conducted by Detective Sgt. Troy Seifert,” Moore said.
