Woman With Baby Robbed At Gunpoint In Stamford Parking Garage, Police Say

STAMFORD, Conn. — A woman with an infant was robbed of her purse at gunpoint in an underground parking garage in Stamford on Thursday afternoon, the Stamford Advocate reported.

The armed robbery occurred in a parking garage below an office building at 78 Harvard Ave. on the West Side of Stamford.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s with a medium build and wearing a North Face jacket, police told the Advocate.

He approached the woman and demanded her valuables, then grabbed her purse from her car, the Stamford Advocate said.

The robbery occurred at 78 Harvard Ave., a four-story office building.

No injuries were reported, the Advocate said.
