New York Times Spotlights Affordability Of Danbury Real Estate

DANBURY, Conn. -- Most areas of Fairfield County are associated with wealthy residents and exorbitant house prices, but the New York Times recently visited Danbury and hailed it as a bastion of real estate affordability.

The Times noted Danbury's lower taxes, about 25 percent lower than the rest of the county, and still-recovering housing market as primary reasons for the city's relative value. 

Outside of real estate prices, the Times also outlined other advantages to living in Danbury, including cultural offerings, school systems, easy commutes and its rich history.
