Giegler is a Republican who represents Danbury, New Fairfield and Ridgefield.  Harding is a Republican who represents Danbury, Brookfield and Bethel.

During the visit, Clark, Paul Steinmetz and students gathered to be recognized in the Hall of the House during a late-April session day.
