DANBURY, Conn. - All Danbury public schools are closed Wednesday because of the snow.

Immaculate High School, Abbott Tech and the Wooster School are also closed.

Western Connecticut State University will open at noon.

Also, a Level 1 snow emergency has been declared, which means Danbury residents must move their cars off streets to allow for plowing, Mayor Mark Boughton said via Twitter.
