DANBURY, Conn. — To quote Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, it's "cold. Very cold."
And because it's so cold, all schools in Danbury are on a two-hour delay for Friday morning. The announcement was made Thursday night via Twitter and reverse phone calls.
The overnight low temperature is forecast at a frigid 7 degrees, with winds of 15 to 17 mph and gusts of up to 55 mph making it feel like it's -5 to 0 degrees
Some isolated snow showers are also possible Thursday night into Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The rest of Friday will be sunny, with temperatures warming to high near 21 degrees, but with wind chill values between -5 and 5.
