Danbury Schools To Close Early As Storm Approaches

DANBURY, Conn. -- Public schools in Danbury are on early dismissal Tuesday as a storm approaches.

Immaculate High School and other parochial schools are also on early dismissal as is Henry Abbott Tech High School.

Western Connecticut State University is closing at noon Tuesday.

Snow is expected to begin falling by late morning, with a total of 5 to 8 inches predicted to fall across interior parts of Fairfield County. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from noon Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
