By 2020, local officials anticipate Danbury High School’s enrollment will grow to 3,300 students, according to newstimes.com.

The expansion proposal includes constructing a four-level wing with 24 classrooms for a “freshman academy,” which would be built near the high school’s football field and baseball diamonds, newstimes.com reported.

Because Danbury officials would have to borrow $62 million through bonds, registered voters would have to approve the plan, according to newstimes.com.
