Danbury Sen. McLachlan Greets Sherman Students In Visit To Capitol

SHERMAN, Conn. — Sherman School students and teachers visited the State Capitol and were welcomed by Sen. Michael McLachlan, who represents Bethel, Danbury, New Fairfield and Sherman.

Sherman students were able to tour the historic Senate Chamber and ask Senator McLachlan about his job as a state lawmaker.

The students were able to tour the historic Senate Chamber and ask McLachlan about his job as a state lawmaker in the April 13 field trip. 

McLachlan commended the students on their interest in their state government and thanked school officials for their leadership.
