Danbury Students Achieve Academic Honors In College

DANBURY, Conn. -- Several Danbury students were named to the honor roll and Dean's Lists at their respective universities. 

Danbury's Gina Atanasoff and Nicole Reiss earned Dean's List recognition for the fall semester at the University of Rhode Island. To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. 

Jessica Ventura, of Norwalk, was named to the Dean's List at the University of New Haven. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the Dean's List.

Springfield College named Elizabeth Costanzo, of Danbury, to the Dean's List for the fall semester. Costanzo is studying English.

Stephen Schillat of Danbury was named to the Dean's List for fall 2013 at The College of Saint Rose. Full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail are eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List.

Danbury's Lisa Moran earned term honors for the fall semester at Skidmore College. She is the daughter of Wendy Northup of Danbury, and Clifford Moran of Ridgefield. Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.650 from a possible 4.0, for students who have completed 14 credit hours.
