Danbury's Wcsu Names Interim Dean Of Visual And Performing Arts

DANBURY, Conn. – Western Connecticut State University has named one of its assistant professors of music as the Danbury college’s interim dean of the school of visual and performing arts, according to a press release.

Jamie Begian will step into that role, effective Thursday, July 1.

The previous dean, Dan Goble, is leaving WCSU to accept a position in Colorado.

Begian, also chairman of the department of music and jazz studies program coordinator, has been a full-time faculty member at WCSU for 10 years.
