DANBURY, Conn. – Western Connecticut State University has named one of its assistant professors of music as the Danbury college’s interim dean of the school of visual and performing arts, according to a press release.
Western Connecticut State University has named Jamie Begian as the Danbury colleges interim dean of the school of visual and performing arts.

The previous dean, Dan Goble, is leaving WCSU to accept a position in Colorado.
Begian, also chairman of the department of music and jazz studies program coordinator, has been a full-time faculty member at WCSU for 10 years.
