Sharon Rowland, of Ridgefield, “leaves a true legacy of creativity,” said Peter Lingenheld, Wooster middle school’s dean of students, in a press release.

“Having taught (Sharon) in sixth and eighth grade, I can honestly say that her hard work has made her a better learner, a better thinker, and a better writer,” Lingenheld said.

“She accepts challenges without a thought, and has modeled in the classroom, art studio, advisory, cross country paths, and jobs program, what it means and what it looks like to truly do your best.”
